Christian Pardini (Pietrasanta, 1987) is an independent graphic designer and photographer. After studying Industrial Design with a specialization in set design at the University of Florence, he developed a professional practice that combines graphic design and photographic research. In 2022, he attended courses in environmental portraiture and completed a Master’s program in documentary photography and photojournalism at the Fondazione Studio Marangoni in Florence. That same year, he became part of the Clemente–Pardini duo, through which he develops photographic projects – both personal and commissioned – focused on landscape and its social and environmental implications. His work has been exhibited at the Festival di Documentazione e Narrazione del Paesaggio in Cuneo, at the Cardelli&Fontana contemporary art gallery, at FMAV – Fondazione Modena Arti Visive and in other group exhibitions. His photographs have been published in magazines such as L’Espresso and in Fotocrazia, the column curated by Michele Smargiassi. In 2024, he received a Special Mention at the Urbanautica Institute Awards for 4km and was awarded a scholarship by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze for the Filling The Gap Master’s program at the Fondazione Studio Marangoni. In the same year, he was invited to give a lecture as part of the Landscape Representation course at the Faculty of Architecture of Sapienza University of Rome. In 2025, he received a Special Mention at the Urbanautica Institute Awards for Interno Zoo. That same year, he was selected by OMNE – Osservatorio Mobile Nord Est – to participate in a workshop dedicated to the city of Forlì and to take part in the group exhibition ZONE at Ex Asilo Santarelli, accompanied by a publication published by Otium. Also in 2025, Limo, developed with the Clemente–Pardini duo, was selected for Terræ Aquæ, the exhibition project of the Italian Pavilion at the 19th International Architecture Exhibition of the Venice Biennale, and was published in the volume Terræ Aquæ 2. Italy and the Intelligence of the Sea, published by Electa. In 2026, Interno Zoo was shortlisted for the Fotofabbrica Prize and exhibited at the DiecixDieci Festival.
